NU!Reha Desk is the base unit for the implementation of telerehabilitation service: this unit is capable to interface a set of hardware and software modules allowing the monitored execution of specific exercises.
The desk unit is equipped with a sensorised screen suitable for the execution of horizontal displacement exercises (i.e. writing, pregraphism, symbol recognition..); it provides functionality for data recording and data transmission toward remote server. The unit could be utilised also as in-hospital equipment connected to the local area network. Installation at patient home is simplified by means of reduced dimensions with supporting legs collapsed. The behaviour of the unit is managed through a simplified 4 keys interface (Control Pad) 
Through a list of devoted additional modules it is possible to manage different typologies of contextual exercises:
The main feature is the complete configurability of the exercise sequence proposed to patient: objects, scenarios, paths, difficulty level, can be managed by the therapist during the system set-up. System configuration can be modified remotely, with the unit at patient home. By means of a data analysis software module, it is possible to monitor and to manage data acquired during patient exercises, performing a preliminary analysis of results. |
